Ministry Leaders

Ray & Leisa Carter

Senior Pastor | r_carter@cchavasu.com
Women’s & Children’s | disciplette2003@yahoo.com

The Lord grabbed a hold of Leisa and I in 1989 & 1990 respectively. We are so thankful for His salvation and impact in our lives and family. We have been blessed with 5 children and are so grateful to have had seasons of working in ministry together with each one of them. All but our youngest are now married to wonderful spouses. We also have 8 grandkids and counting. What a joy it is to be pastoring with the family of God here at R.H since 1996. God’s faithfulness is unsurpassed!

Paul & Rachel Rusin

Administration | p_rusin@verizon.net rachelrusin1969@gmail.com

Rachel and I have been married for 31 years. We are both retired. Rachel retired from CNA Insurance Corp. after 26 years as an Administrative Assistant. I retired as a Fire Captain from Los Angeles County Fire Dept. I have been a Chaplain with LA County Fire since 2007.

Rachel and I were saved in 2000/2001 respectively at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar, CA. We have a 31year old Son, Brandon, who at the age of 10, got us attending Golden Springs after he got saved. We have a large extended Family, as well as Church Family, which now includes Redemption Hill Calvary Chapel!

WE LOVE YOU ALL!

After graduating Calvary Chapel GS Bible College in 2020, and with the encouragement of our Pastors, Rachel and I began to pray about “going out”. In June of 2021, we felt lead to leave So Cal and relocate to Parker, AZ fulfilling God’s call on our lives here at Redemption Hill.

We look forward to what God will continue to do here in Lake Havasu City, as we support the work that Pastor Ray and Leisa started some 25 years ago.

Kaleb Pragle

Music & Youth | kalebpragle@gmail.com

I gave my life to God when I was 8 years old and have been serving in some capacity at a church since I was about 12. Music has always been my biggest passion in life since I was a kid, and I’ve been involved in leading worship since I was 17. I have also been a leader in youth ministries since I was a senior in High School. I grew up in Upstate New York but moved across the country to Southern California at 19 to pursue God’s calling of full-time ministry. I spent 6 1/2 months overseas doing Missions work before returning home and finally being called to Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Allison Miller

Administrator | administration@cchavasu.com

I started at RHCC as the Administrator in 2021 but have been attending the church the majority of my life. After High School I left Arizona for about 8 years but returned to Lake Havasu to be closer to family. My Husband and I married in 2018 and have since been blessed with two little girls. It’s such a joy to see all that God has done through RHCC over the years!

Noah Carter

Media Director | nojocarter@gmail.com

I started attending Redemption Hill right after my dad took over the church in 1996. Granted, I didn’t have much say in the matter at the time since I was only a toddler. But, this church has become a huge part of my life. From that time, God has been Lord of my life and I am continually thankful for his grace in my life. I’ve always served in some capacity at the church ever since I was about 8 years old and I started helping in the children’s ministry. After high school, I attended Calvary Chapel Bible College, where I graduated in 2016. I came on staff with the church in 2017 as the media director and it has been a blessing ever since. God has shown to be faithful to my wife, Jessica, and I and we are happy to call this body of believers our church family.

Dennis & Randy Palmer

Security & Hospitality | rodandgun1@gmail.com

Dennis and Randy have been married for 37 years and have a daughter, a son and three grandchildren. Randy and Dennis have been walking with the Lord for over 30 years. Randy worked sixteen years as a Corporate Officer of the WM Keck Foundation, located in Los Angeles, California. Following her retirement, they relocated to Colorado. Prior to his retirement in 2014, Dennis was the Director of Training for Law Enforcement at Combined Tactical Systems. He had the opportunity to work with and train SWAT, SRT, and Tactical Teams throughout the US. He has attended several firearms training schools, including Firearms Instructor Training at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Both Dennis and Randy are currently NRA Instructors and have taught numerous classes in Colorado and Arizona. In 2019 they moved to Lake Havasu to assist Dennis’ aging mother. They joined the body of Christ at RHCC in 2020.

Gillett & Victoria

Prayer Team / Ushers & Greeters | gillettdoggett@icloud.com

Gillett and Victoria were married June 10, 1960 and served together in ministry for several years in a denominational church before discovering Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Then when Calvary Chapel Riverside was started under the pastoral ministry of Greg Laurie, both Gillett and Victoria began attending there.

Later a home Bible study was started in their home. As it grew, Greg gave Gillett the responsibly of pastor to the new church. For two years Gillett continued to teach high school while pastoring the church, until the growth required his full-time as pastor.

Since that Gillett and Victoria served together in both the church in Southern California and planting another in Central Sierra near Yosemite, over a period of forty years.

After stepping back from the position of senior pastor, Gillett helped form Poimen Ministries, retried pastors serving pastors on several levels. And after doing extensive ministry travels Gillett and Victoria moved from North Fork, California to Lake Havasu City, teaming up with Redemption Hill Calvary Chapel in the ministry of Usher/Greeters, Prayer team, and periodic teaching. What a blessing to be serving with such a great group of saints.

Stormy Medley

Cleaning Ministry

I had the privilege of coming to know the Lord as a young girl in a Christian school. Go Christian schools! The Lord’s faithfulness and fellowship have been life sustaining and renewing throughout the years.

Along the way, He has been gracious to let me serve in a youth group, on a hotline for runaways, as a reading tutor and overseeing a district for youth soccer and it’s tournaments. I am a retired Fire Dispatcher. My husband, Rod and I met in our junior year of high school and were married 2 years after I graduated. We have two adult children and we are indeed blessed.

Gary Malkus Jr.

My wife, Jessica Malkus, is my hero, she was saved first, and through her persistent prayers and convincing testimony I found Jesus. I was saved in 2004 through the teaching of God’s Word, and the ministry of Pastor Ray Carter.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
